Al Gross is a former NASCAR driver from Tampa, FL. He competed in three Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten. All of those races came in 1950, when Gross debuted at Daytona Beach. Starting 8th in the field, Gross completed every lap and drove to a solid 4th place effort. He was unfortunately unable to back that up in his other two races, struggling to 18th at Martinsville and then crashing to 28th at Canfield.
