Lighters were trained as illuminated learners from a young age, and were given their titles in a unique lighting ceremony that marked their ascension into the ranks of the Order. Sa'ari serving as lighters who showed a particularly strong aptitude for the Blue were sometimes picked by the current Eldarch to become their Youngarch, serving as her apprentice and appointed successor.
