The battle was long and hard, grueling and unforgiving. Thousands died on either side. Bonds were formed and innocence was shattered. Though he managed to survive, Corporal Natan Endel was forced to made a terrible decision that he would not wish upon the worst of men. There is not a day that goes by when the he fails to question his decision.
After witnessing his best friend and fellow soldier suffer in terrible agony, Natan Endel made the fateful decision to end his comrade's suffering. Now, Natan is discharged and placed on trial for the alleged "murder" of a reportedly savable Republic servant. Forced to prove his innocence in the judgmental eyes of an overly-critical military court in a highly-publicized trial, Endel must recount his story to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he made the right decision. His own guilt and uncertainty obstructs his attempts to find peace and redemption and to prove to the galaxy that his decision was just.
