Artz has been described as a 'Strassonist hardliner,' belonging to the Radical Strassonist faction of the Socialist Party, and her National Assembly voting history has reflected this, voting for intervention and support in the Flemish Revolution and expansion of the Voice of Westland international radio services. Artz has stated in her personal electoral manifesto, that she is a 'true believer in Strassonism' and wants 'what is best for humanity as a community.' She has also stated that she stands in solidarity with 'women everywhere' identifying as a staunch feminist and has been crticial of Westland's male-dominated political scene.
