Ramat Gilad (Hebrew: רָמַת גִּלְעָד, lit. Gilead Heights) is a village and an Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located to the north of Karnei Shomron, the outpost was named after Gilad Zar, a security officer who was killed by Palestinians.
