His "luck" brought the attention of many individuals, giving him a small amount of fame upon the planet. The most notable being the White Knight's security team and the Jedi Master, Luke Skywalker. Oddly enough, some rumors indicate that he had given away a good chunk of his winnings to local charities. Since his meeting with Skywalker, Cort seems to have disappeared. Though, some people who are players in the gambling circuit claim to have seen him traveling throughout various planets of the Republic. Some even claim to have seen him upon the desert world of Tatooine. For a while, Cort had seemed to have disappeared from the face of the Galaxy, not being seen in public for months. However, he resurfaced on Corellia years later. According to rumors, the young man seems to have been picking fights with certain individuals there. Even stranger however, he had been wielding a lightsaber. How Cort managed to become a Jedi is unknown, but in 9 ABY, under the name Etrigan, Cort, under the influence of Bacharan Valak, infiltrated the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV and killed all the students except Ethan Katana, completing the Second Jedi Purge. He remained under Valak's service for some time after, though disappeared after 10 ABY.
