The Ecolu were a diminutive reptilian sentient race. They ranged from about half a meter to about a meter in height, from black to light brown in color, and had a life expectancy of about 35 years. They came from a planet they called Guli'it, which was a member of the Galactic Republic and most subsequent governments, but the Ecolu were generally a reclusive species, not often traveling off their homeworld. There were some exceptions; one famous Ecolu bounty hunter was T'ratSi, and the records of the Old Jedi Order record the existence of one Ecolu knight and three more Force-sensitive individuals, though the Ecolu were not the most Force-sensitive of species.
