Delti II is a planet in the Delti System, which is located in the Inner Colonies, and it is the only planet in the system's habitable zone. Colonized by humanity in 2418 under the United Nations Space Command, the colony was ursurped by the Colonial Protectorate following the UNSC's collapse at the beginning of the Splinter War, though almost two thirds of its surface had been glassed during the Human-Covenant War. By the end of the Splinter War, the pro-UNSC forces would regain control of the planet, whom had officially formed the United Federation to Restore Humanity.
