Kroger was a male pilot who served as a major in the Galactic Empire's Imperial Navy during the time of the Galactic Civil War. He was considered a strategic genius when it came to naval warfare, and an excellent pilot. Sometime following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, Lieutenant Colonel Aqzow of Havoc Squadron tasked a Rebel pilot with killing Major Kroger before he could reach the Endor system. To that end, the pilot loyal to the Alliance to Restore the Republic located Kroger in the Dathomir system piloting an experimental TIE Advanced x1 alongside an escort of two TIE/IN interceptors. The Havoc Squadron pilot engaged the Imperials and destroyed them successfully.
