- Developed by Dorioss Shipyards, the Vindicator-class Star Destroyer furthers the carrier concept employed by other Star Destroyer designs to the utmost, as indicated by the huge docking-bay that sits in the center of the ship. Two secondary docking-bays also jut out from either side of the vessel for dedicated use by shuttles and assault craft. The Vindicator-class is able to carry a full wing of starfighters and at the same time provide greater protection for them. The two prongs that bookend the main docking-bay are lined with quad laser cannons, making it near impossible for enemy pilots to ambush the Star Destroyer's starfighters. Of all the designs by Dorioss, the Vindicator-class is arguably the most successful, having seen use in three different governments: the Sith Empire, the Cylon Imperium, and the Crimson Empire.
