| - Taptx UK is a free mobile phone application available on both Android and Iphone in the UK and is has 2 primary objectives. 1. Providing its users with the ability to connect with their local businesses and services 2. Providing a platform for local businesses to advertise digitally on the mobile platform at a fraction of the cost of traditional advertising. The company 'Taptx UK Ltd', a derivative of 'Taptx LTD' first appeared in 2011 with the tagline "Putting your business into people's pockets". The Taptx 'platform' offers businesses the ability to create, edit and manage their own mobile optimized web site which sits within the Taptx application. Clients of Taptx, are able to log on and update their business adverts, or 'pages', as well as promote special offers which can be viewed by local users of Taptx. Taptx clients are able to create affinity groups and promote loyalty amongst their potential customers by keeping their Taptx pages up to date with images & text, describing their products and services as well as maintaining effective special offers, which will help their business stand out amongst its peers. Taptx works on a monthly subscription basis and offers digital advertising for a very cost effective price in comparison with other digital and non digital advertising platforms. Creating a Taptx advert or 'page' is done online at www.taptxuk.com and is completed in 3 simple steps. 1. Entering relevant business details 2. Customizing the business advert. 3. Making payment for the business page. Once these 3 steps are completed, the page will be approved at the Taptx UK head office and the business's page will be live on the Taptx platform. Taptx operates a number of 'give back' schemes whereby its 'Users' are rewarded for using the application by being awarded vouchers to spend in their local stores. For Users to be eligible for vouchers and prizes, they need to just download the application, for free and register, again for free. Taptx is also finalizing details of a 'give back' scheme, whereby they plan to donate 1% of their annual profit to British SME's by way of grants and other funding methods. At time of print, Taptx are currently in discussions with a number of external companies around mobilizing this scheme. Taptx UK is also running an ongoing competition until 1,000,000 downloads are achieved. The idea of this competition is to reward one of the initial million downloaders by awarding them a 0.01% stake in the Taotx business.
