Uvilan Naith was a Jedi Master at the time of the Galaxial War. He fought in the Battle of Gora where he was defeated by a combined force of Raziel and Trivas. He agreed to a retreat and returned to the ranks of the Jedi. Eleven months after the war was declared, he defected from the Jedi Order and convinced the commander of an Imperial Class Star Destroyer to attack Pinnacle Base on Sterex in order to capture Eliana, Trivas' daughter. He succeeded in killing everyone on Pinnacle Base except Eliana and Repness, whom he sent to Trivas with a message.

He succeeded in killing everyone on Pinnacle Base except Eliana and Repness, whom he sent to Trivas with a message. He met Trivas alone on Jurexn in order to avenge the death of his apprentice on Gora. The two fought for half an hour when Trivas won the duel by slicing Naith across the chest with his lightsaber. Enraged, but knowing that he was beaten, Naith retreated and escaped. Two months later, he tracked Trivas and his apprentice, Dradin Kitsch, to Bastion where Trivas was negotiating for cloaking technology. There, he hired a mercenary to destroy the Sith's speeder and confronted the two again. In a quick duel, he managed to deeply cut Dradin's shoulder but did not see Trivas appear until he saw bolts of lightening reach him. He blocked most of the energy, but Trivas released his rage over the kidnapping of his daughter and the wound his apprentice had suffered and continued to pour energy into Naith. Dradin managed to get behind the distracted Jedi and throw his lit lightsaber into his lower back. Mortally wounded, Naith could do nothing while Trivas mercilessly slaughtered him in a fury of hatred and rage.
