Pat's career is somewhat exceptionnal. Undoubtly one of the most talented forwards to come out of the JHL. He played 17 stellar seasons for the Halifax Lemmings ( which he now owns ) before retiring from the EHL at the age of 36. He set the JHL records for the most goals (98), assists (141) and points (239) all in one season. He was 4 times JHL scoring leader, won 2 JHL playoff championships, 3 times EHL scoring leader and was awarded the Sickles Gold Medal as well as the Pabst Cup with the Halifax Lemmings in Season 10. 2 years after his retirement and introduction to the EHL Hall Of Fame, McLouis joined the Milan Squadra HC ( owned by himself ) in the WEHA; the newly formed european based hockey league.
