Turbolaser Tower is a heavy Anti-Vehicle Turret appearing in the Empire at War and its expansion Forces of Corruption. While it might be pre-made, usually you will have to rebuilt it from ruins for 1400 credits. Also, this turret requires so much power that it cannot operate indepedently without a Power Generator. As such, it can sometimes be easier to send a hero or Snowspeeders to destroy the Generator then individually getting rid of every turret in the way, especially since the Mining Facilities and Shield Generators are also dependent on it.

  • Turbolaser Tower is a heavy Anti-Vehicle Turret appearing in the Empire at War and its expansion Forces of Corruption. While it might be pre-made, usually you will have to rebuilt it from ruins for 1400 credits. This turret does extremely heavy damage against vehicles, destroying most of them in 2-3 hits. It also possesses extremely large health, able to survive a single hit from a Thermal Detonator. However, its large height prevents it from hitting targets standing next to it, meaning that infantry or heroes can attack it with impunity once they reach its base. Plex Missile Soldiers, Rebel Infiltrators, Mara Jade and Kyle Katarn can level it in less then 10 seconds under these conditions, while R2-D2 and C-3PO can outright hack it, turning it against the former owners. Finally, the Scout Troopers move so fast that the turret can't hit them, allowing them to reach its base, shoot, then finish it off by dropping their charges.
