Lekia was a common plant found on the planet Nigreosis. It resembled moss in that it grew only a few centimeters tall and had very similar growth patterns, though the two had noticeable differences. As Lekia was constantly being exposed to Negran, it had a hue of deep black. Also, the plant's surface was, in contrast to moss's lumpy exterior, smooth and slick. It normally grew near rivers, and was rarely found in other locations. Lekia was bursting with nutrients and was quite edible. It was a major dietary component for both sentient and non-sentient Nigreosis residents alike.
