After meeting with initial success on its first mission, an insertion onto the surface of Taris prior to the liberation of that world, Viridian Squadron was tasked with doing the same for Onderon. Dropped into Iziz mere hours before the main attack was to begin, the unit suffered extreme casualties in their successful attempt to infiltrate and destroy a key component of the Mandalorians' defense network. Among the dead was Laera herself, though she would be revived after the war. Unable to bear the thought of sending the rest of her people off to die, Master Sunrider disbanded the squadron, sending its surviving members behind the lines where they would sit out the remainder of the conflict.
