Magnus Vestergaard (d. 2001) was an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department's Devonshire District. He was born in Denmark and moved to the United States as a child. In the early 1990s, he worked on the investigation into the murder of Anneke Jesperson, communicating with the editors of Berlingske Tidende. He died in 2001 in a motorcycle crash.
