Jean Prior (also known as "Jaye") is the founder of FORKNI-L, the oldest and longest continuously running e-mail list dedicated to Forever Knight. Ms. Prior founded the email list during her days attending Penn State University when she learned that Geraint Wyn Davies, of whom she was already a fan, would be starring in the show. Although a fan of the show, which is set in Toronto, Ms. Prior has only visited the city a few times. She has, however, had the pleasure of meeting Forever Knight star Geraint Wyn Davies in Stratford, ON in 2008 when he was starring as Polonius in Hamlet.

Since handing over the reins, she has sometimes called herself "Elder Stateskitty" when posting to the FORKNI-L list. Since the list's founding, Ms. Prior has participated in a variety of fandoms including Doctor Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Dragonriders of Pern, X-Men Comics, and most British science fiction and fantasy-based television series. Her fandom participation also includes regular attendance at the fandom-based convention Dragon*Con. Ms. Prior currently works as a DJ on Dementia Radio on Friday nights from 8 to 10 p.m. Eastern time.
