The unnamed Prison Officer was on duty during May 2010 in the Highfield Prison dining room when Tony Gordon provoked a fight with a fellow inmate, starting a fight. He then feigned a heart attack which the Officer fell for and called for an ambulance but this was a scam to get taken to Weatherfield General. En-route, his armed henchman Robbie Sloane followed the ambulance and engineered a crash. Upon releasing Tony, he ordered the driver and accompanying prison officer inside the back of the vehicle where they were promptly locked in. Tony was then free to return to Coronation Street and exact his revenge upon Carla Connor.
