abstract	When Is My Birthday? is a 1988 Sesame Street storybook which follows Elmo and his family as they prepare for his sister Daisy's birthday party. Elmo is so excited, he even decides to buy Daisy a bouquet of flowers for a present. Elmo also wonders when his own birthday will arrive. At the party, Elmo grows jealous over the attention Daisy gets, as well as the fancy toy truck she receives. None of his friends seem to notice him at the party either. Elmo begins to feel let down, until Daisy wants somebody to play with the toy truck with her. Then Daisy answers Elmo's question by saying that his birthday is only a week after hers.
