The 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season was a very active hurricane season which had the number of hurricanes and major hurricanes tie 12 hurricanes (2010) and 6 major hurricanes (2004). It was also the first hurricane season since 2007 to have 2 category 5 hurricanes. This season was the first since 2012 to have storms bring 72-96 hours of feeder bands from a storm. The first storm (Arthur) formed on May 20th, 2020 and the last storm (Vicky) dissipated on December 15th, 2020.
