A Gigli saw was a type of cutting tool, consisting of a long flexible wire with handles at either end. Doctor Elizabeth Lense was forced to used a tool much like a Gigli saw for amputations while serving as a field medic for the Jabari in late 2376. (SCE eBook: Wounds, Book 2)
