The diplomatic Foreign Relations of the Highlandic Federation are implemented by the Highlandic External & Foreign Affairs Office. The Head of State, (President) as well as numerable other government departments and agencies all play a role in the implementation and setting of policy. The Highlandic Federation was a largerly prominent regional power after being suceeded from that of the Republic of White Highlands and the Union of Kinsek. Before the 37th century the Highlandic Federation was safely regarded as a regional power, with very little active cooperation overseas with few exceptions.
