During the crisis, the Ninth Fleet was based at Crix Base in the Coruscant system, but it was still enigmatic to high-ranking Alliance figures like Grand Master Luke Skywalker of the New Jedi Order. In fact, it was the sole GA fleet under Galactic Alliance Guard command.
