An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.org associated with source dataset(s)

Mad Bubbler is an unproduced toy of the LJN Toyline and is based on the 80's version ThunderCats series character Mad Bubbler. The toy would have featured a Bubble-producing action whereby pushing down the head of the toy would cause it to blow soap bubbles. However, since the toy never went into production, it is difficult to know how it functioned exactly. The Mad Bubbler appeared on some the LJN Mini Catalogues alongside The Driller and The Stinger. The three were collectively known as the "Ram-pagers"

The three were collectively known as the "Ram-pagers" The Mad Bubbler went through a number of different concept designs before being finalized as the design that appeared in catalogues. One such concept which made it to the prototype stage featured a much smaller figure with a round squeezable plastic ball at its back and its hands covering its mouth. Squeezing the plastic back caused its arms to move apart and bubbles to be produced from its mouth.
