| - This article is about the demographic features of the population of Iceland, including population density, ethnicity, education level, health of the populace, economic status, religious affiliations and other aspects of the population. Westland is a More Economically Developed Country (MEDC) with a total population of 1,973,234. Westlanders are a homogenous people, although several decades of immigration have altered the compostiton of the population of the country. The largest non-native ethnicity are Polish Westlanders which make up 6% of the population having arrived in the years after World War II. There are also significant populations of Romanians and Turkish people, alongside English people.
