Intervener-class frigates were the standard light capital ship of the Droid Confederacy. They were shaped like a Human fist with the engines where the wrist would have been. The middle finger knuckle served as the command bridge. These ships couldn't house many smaller starfighters as its sole hangar bay was very small and used only for emergency docking, so its combat purpose was simply as a weapons platform and refueling station for starfighters. It was possible to fit the dagger-shaped Celestial-class carrier/battleship into the fist of the Intervener to form a larger ship, though this had no real purpose.
