Bee (VAXF001) was born in March 2015 in the Axolotls Mob. Her mother was either the dominant female, Pug, or subordinate females Sky or Snygging. Her father was an unknown rover. Her litter mates were Fizzy (VAXF002), VAXP003 and VAXP004. VAXP003 and VAXP004 were predated within their first two months, but Bee and her sister, Fizzy survived and began to care for themselves. Sadly, TB hit the group and Fizzy was one of the first meerkats to become sick. She died in October 2015, leaving Bee as the last surviving member of her litter. In January 2016, Pug died, leaving Bee and another young female named Bearbatter as the last members of the group. They soon left the group together and the Axolotis were lost.
