The story of the Linsae family can be traced back to 278 BBY when Mal-Sae Linsae traveled from Phorliss-in order to avoid punishment for his crimes- to Coruscant. Upon his arrival he was registered as Force-sensitive by the Jedi Council. On Phorliss, Mal-Sae was a common criminal, but on Coruscant he became a powerful business man owning several clubs and cantinas. In 275 BBY Mal-Sae's son Ranton Linsae was born. The Jedi approached Mal-Sae and offered to take the infant and train him to be a Jedi. Mal-Sae strongly rejected the Jedi's offer and declared that no robed freaks would take his son from him. Ranton continued his fathers work and even added a small fleet of transportaion shuttles to the family empire for Coruscant and the other nearby planetary systems. The transportation company
