As Lord Vitiate returned to his anchorite, his chosen Immortal Vessel since he had become a personification of a Dark side Void in the Force, the Empire has suffered under the renewed Great Galactic War and the actions of Darth Malgus who had managed to survive and flee his Space Fortress. Vitiate returned to the forefront of ruling his Empire as he intended to defeat the Republic and Jedi once and for all, meanwhile the Jedi harbor a predicted individual whom had an ancient connection to Vitiate, without the Jedi knowing the full story either or what Vitiate would do to retrieve that person.
