- William Shakespeare, also known as Britney Spears' fucker, was the documentarist and poetist and writist for Romeo and Juliet and all the fucking Goddamn annoying school plays that followed. William started out writing bitchy shit about his wife leaving him, similar to the blues and country, and then he got jumped by some gangstas and he got into rap after that. He got very popular too and he got like a million iTunes downloads in less than a month which was very impressive for the 1500s. Or whenever the fuck he lived.
- Shakespeare is a wise wizard who, during the time of Ultima IV, can be found in Magical Herbs in Moonglow. When the Stranger met him, Shakespeare said that he created tales of Honesty, and that the hero should beware corruption, as it wins no more than Honesty.

- Shakespeare for a while had been a self-made mercenary, and upon the revival of Ao Oni through the UFOs, he was seemingly recruited by them. After an escort mission to eliminate the Yellow Fishes of the Caverns failed, he showed up to eliminate Gamelover. Failing this as well, he silently monitored Trix from a distance instead. When Gamelover freed her from the barrier, Shakespeare warped in and killed her, provoking Gamelover to attempt to kill Shakespeare, however, he soon redeemed himself by giving a pretty deep speech to Gamelover, then promptly betrayed DB UFO. It was revealed as well that Shakespeare was forced to kill the Yellow fishes and Trix, as DB UFO had a special collar on him that allowed him to kill Shakespeare if he didn't do as he told.

- Series of "plays" conducted by Shake that many believed to be real. Essentially, Shake went along a course of events that he frequently planned with other users and played them as real. Then at the end is a "surprise! It was fake!"
- "Shakespeare" is a bunch of planned hoaxes centering around the board 8 user Shake. The following is Shake's description of each individual Shakespeare.
- Shakespeare is a disease often contracted by golf players and Roman Legionnaires alike. It is not quite Legionnaires' disease. In fact, it has nothing to do with Legionnaire's Disease whatsoever.
- William Shakespeare was a poet and playwright living in London, England, in the Real World in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. He was also known as 'The Bard of Avon', or simply 'The Bard'. His plays include Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, Julius Caesar, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Titus Andronicus, among many, many others that we won't continue to list here because that's Wikipedia's job. All of Shakespeare's work is considered to be great literature, and many agents will become very, very angry if an author does not show him the proper respect. Unfortunately, Shakespeare's work is no longer under copyright protection, and thus anyone is free to reinterpret his work as they like. The nice person with the flamethrower recommends that you do not take this as permission
- Shakespeare is the inventor of the English language. Before him, everyone spoke in a sort of pidgin text-lingo. As well as English, he also invented those little spiral shoelaces that are used by latchkey kids. He was born in the darkest part of the Dark Ages, supposedly on his birthday, and was soon writing plays and poems. Most people don't understand a word of Shakespeare; in fact, Shakespeare's parents, Murray and Helen, were driven to drink worrying about "what the hell that boy of yours is talking about".
