| - Shock resistance is somewhat rare to get very early in the game which can prove fatal against fast lightning vortices, making blue dragon-hide gauntlets are relatively good find for a low-level PC.
Later in the game most players will use elemental gauntlets against shock-based attacks and/or to protect their worn rings. However, unlike the artifact gauntlets, blue dragon-hide gauntlets can be generated and/or improved to provide better physical protection. Admittedly, even with better stats they still remain destructible.
