Co-Co were a five piece British band established in 1974 consisting of Terry Bradford, Josie Andrews, Cheryl Baker, Keith Hasler and Paul Rogers. Originally called Mother's Pride, several members had made previous attempts to represent the United Kingdom in the Contest before their 1978 appearance proved their most successful, although they placed 11th which would remain the nation's worst placing until the 1987 Contest. The band eventually split in 1980 and the following year, Cheryl Baker returned to the Eurovision stage as a member of Bucks Fizz, who won with the song Making Your Mind Up.
