Years later, Hilda and her family attended the Farewell Party of Bilbo Baggins on September 12, 3001 3A. She was quite amazed how Gandalf could make such excellent fireworks, especially the one that was made as a fire-breathing dragon.

- Born in 2974 3A, Hilda lived in Hardbottle, a village in the Northfarthing of the Shire. She later married Seredic Brandybuck. A year after giving birth to Doderic, Hilda and her family were enslaved by the Ruffians that took power over the Shire. Years later, Hilda and her family attended the Farewell Party of Bilbo Baggins on September 12, 3001 3A. During the War of the Ring, she and her husband joined the Shire Company when evil was beginning to rise throughout Middle-earth. Remembering how she fought in the Battle of Bywater, Hilda received a Barrow-blade from the Maiar Tom Bombadil during her travel to the south. After days of travelling, Hilda joined forces with 2000 Northern Rangers from the Grey Company and travelled to Gondor where she would briefly fight in the Battle of Gondor with many armies of the Free Alliance. After the battle was over, Hilda volunteered in gathering the wounded and took them to the House of Healing in the city of Minas Tirith. Hoping to stand against Sauron and his forces one last time, Hilda and her husband survived the battle and returned to the Shire after the coronation. At the beginning of the Fourth Age, Hilda gave birth to Doderic, Ilberic, and Celandine Brandybuck. During the summertime, Hilda and her family would visit Gondor and explore the wonderful places in the region. She passed away in 100 4A at the age of 127.
