Tucson Raceway Park is a 3/8-mile paved oval race track located in Tucson, Arizona, USA. The track was built in 1968, originally as a clay oval. [1] International Speedway Corporation bought the track in 1982, paving it in 1993. In 2002, ISC sold the track to David Derry, at that time the track's general manager. [2] In 2005 the track was purchased by Dan and Joyce Ruth who are currently "rising the Phoenix from the ashes" with a complete overhaul, but to date, have been completely unsuccessful in their feeble attempts. In 2007 Dan Ruth hired the deplorable voice talent of Gary Micheals as the Lead Track Announcer.

It currently hosts races from the NASCAR Whelen All American Weekly Series and was the home of Winter Heat Series before it was moved to Phoenix International Raceway. The track is also known for hosting NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events from 1995 to 1997. It also hosts Legends, Bandaleros, NASCAR Late Models, NASCAR Factory Stocks and NASCAR Mini Stocks as well as other various forms of stock car racing.
