The Great Bamboo Tree is the fourth episode of the TV series SpongeBob SquarePants: The Kung-fu Master. This is when one evening Master Chin invited SpongeBob to the Bamboo Forest. After 1 hour he introduced him to The Great Bamboo Tree which is in the center of the forest, is the tallest bamboo tree in the forest, and keeps balance to the forest. Master Chin explained to SpongeBob that without the tree, the volcano at the end of the forest would erupt and cause chaos for island. The master then ordered SpongeBob to climb the bamboo tree all the way to the top, and if he does he will teach him a new move. SpongeBob said "yes" and started climbing. Very soon SpongeBob grew very tired and when he looked up he wasn't even halfway there. But he continued to carry on. Soon Master Chin came back

Very soon SpongeBob grew very tired and when he looked up he wasn't even halfway there. But he continued to carry on. Soon Master Chin came back with tea and told SpongeBob to keep going and sipped the tea and returned to his house which was nearby and was in the bamboo forest. After 7 hours SpongeBob was halfway there and found an empty falcon's nest. SpongeBob screamed "finally some sleep!" so he napped there for a few minutes until he woke up from noises under the nest. He looked down and found out that Master Chin's students Buck and Beavis were also climbing. So SpongeBob immediatly started climbing again. Then he saw an adult falcon go to that nest and the falcon laid shiny eggs. SpongeBob was determined to conquer the bamboo tree so he turned around and continued climbing. On the other hand, Buck and Beavis found the falcon's nest with the shiny eggs and tried to steal the shiny eggs so they can sell them. The moment they touched the eggs they hatched into ferocious baby falcons. The baby falcons started attacking Buck and Beavis and the adult falcon returned to join in the attack. At that time SpongeBob reached the top of the bamboo tree and screamed "I did it!". Buck and Beavis fell to the ground when the adult falcon headbutted both of them out of the nest. Master Chin taught SpongeBob the Crane Takedown as a congradulations for completing the task. He then went to Buck and Beavis and told them "you to got a lot to learn"
