abstract
  • The Mission to Ardos was an operation undertaken by a joint Imperial and New Jedi Order task force to rescue the princess of the planet Ondos from Ardos in 981 BBY. The princess had been captured by the Ardosians, who were holding her hostage while demanding that Ondos, a planet with which Ardos had been in conflict with, dispand its planetary militia. In order to rescue the princess, the Imperial and Jedi task force, which included Jedi Knight Jhon Cordatus, infiltrated an Ardosian facility. Cordatus rescued the princess, but his actions resulted in the destruction of the facility, killing hundreds of nearby civilians and injuring thousands more. The destruction sparked a war between the two worlds, which the Empire intervened in and ended. Cordatus was exiled from the Jedi for one year as a result, after which time he returned and eventually became Grand Master.
