La'b Madjnuni ("Crazy Game") was played in Damascus (Syria) in the late 19th century. It is not known if the game is still a popular pastime. The game was first described by Stewart Culin in 1894 who observed that it was a common game in Syrian cafes. La'b Madjnuni is related to the Egyptian L'ab al-Ghashim.
