As the Conservative party has never won a UK parliamentary election in Northern Ireland since its inception, and the Labour party has never stood in a UK parliamentary election in Northern Ireland since its inception, no Northern Ireland Office minister has ever represented a Northern Ireland constituency. The current Secretary of State for Northern Ireland is Marcus Holt.
