  • The Crusader Flotilla was a flotilla of 12 Crusader-class corvettes which was part of the Alliance Navy, the Crusader Flotilla was formed from Dekan Vazagi's Anti-Imperial Squadron which were the naval forces of Dekan Vazagi's Resistance. The flotilla's strength was that it could lay down a sheer amount of fire on a target, the Crusader-class' laser cannons weren't very powerful like turbolasers were but were rapid-firing so it could lay down a lot of fire which could destroy space stations and ships lighter than Victory-class star destroyers very quickly by sheer amount of fire. Because it didn't have turbolasers the flotilla struggled to take on ships heavier than Victory-class star destroyers. Because the Crusader-class was designed as an anti-starfighter ship the Flotilla commonly found itself doing anti-starfighter duty when it wasn't attacking Imperial Cardan-class space stations, when on anti-starfighter duty it was usually protecting larger capital ships and bases from TIE bomber attacks but there were times when it defended bomber wings from TIE fighters.
