  • Today, the Most Serene Republic of Lincolndom is a huge, socially progressive nation, renowned for its strong anti-business politics. Its compassionate population of 249 million enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level social equality free of the usual accompanying government corruption. Lincolndom's national animal is the Amphibious Whale Lincolndom's beginnings were due to a group of outcasts tired of rascist, politically religious and socially secular regions driving these humanitarians out of their homes and into the waters of the South Pacific where they set up a new land as a Utopia for civil rights. Due to the lush and fruitful environment, there was no need for commercialism or corporate organisations nor was there a need for a police state. The land offered our people all that we desired. As we evolved, we became more involved in our relationship with Lincolndom's enviroment - especially our vast beaches. Over time, our relationship with the whale population drew many of them out of the water and into our forests. We learnt to communicate with them and they taught us that communication is the key to life. Thus they became our national animal and communication became our motto. Politically Lincolndom is not divided into states as we are seen as one. Lincolndom is overseen by the Most Serene Council and we have a number of protectors - trained at a time when we realised we were a Utopia nation in an unsettled world. These protectors are answerable to Council and reside in the Sacred Shrine of Amazonia - in honour of a trusted nation that agreed to train the selected few. Lincolndom relies heavily on kinship with many other nations in the South Pacific Region. It is tradition for The Most Serene Council of Lincolndom to offer pairs of Amphibious Whales to nations that are held in high esteem.
