- The Clone Wars is set between Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, during a period of galactic conflict known as the Clone Wars. Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, his apprentice Ahsoka Tano, and his friend and former master Obi-Wan Kenobi fight against the Separatists, a sinister group fighting to break free from the rule of the Galactic Republic. The show features stories with these characters, as well as numerous secondary characters. Major events include power struggles amongst the Mandalorian society, PAlpatine's machinations to reform the Republic into the Galactic Empire, the return of Darth Maul, and more.
- The Clone Wars is set shortly after the events of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Separatists are well underway. Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, his new apprentice Ahsoka Tano, and his friend and former master Obi-Wan Kenobi must race to save the son of the vile gangster Jabba the Hutt. If the Separatists successful kill Jabba's son and blame it on the Republic, it will mean the Hutts ally with the Separatist causing—spelling certain doom for the Republic.
- Return of the Jedi is set one year after The Empire Strikes Back and opens with a plot by Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Lando Calrissian to rescue Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt. Later, they join up with the Rebel Alliance in an attempt to destroy the Galactic Empire's new Death Star in one final battle over the forest moon of Endor. Destinies are fulfilled and the fate of the galaxy is decided.
- Five years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, the Rebel Alliance is just a small band of resistance causes. The show's primary action will be based on Lothal, a world occupied by the Galactic Empire where one of these resistance cells begins to rise and take on the might of the Empire.
- The Empire Strikes Back is set three years after A New Hope and shows the Rebel Alliance on the run from the Galactic Empire, which is determined to defeat the Rebels after the destruction of the Death Star. Meanwhile, Darth Vader furiously hunts for Luke Skywalker, to whom he later reveals the truth about their shared destiny: Vader is Luke's father! The Empire Strikes Back is widely regarded as the best Star Wars film for its darker and more mature storyline.
