The Helghast War is the name generally given to the conflict between three major superpowers early in Teen Grid history, the fight between Blackfire, Helghast, and Fort Superz. The war was extremely violent, and all sides sustained heavy losses in personnel and land holdings. The victor was [[Blackfire], with Helghast defections leading to Helghast's fall, Blackfire was boosted to new heights and defeated Fort Superz. This war set the stage for the first unification of the Teen Grid under one banner, after Blackfire defeated Balamb Gardens in a war shortly after the Helghast War.
