Gamma Phi Sigma was founded on April 16, 1992, at the Main Campus of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Its Founders are eight strong, dynamic, Latinos who had the desire to form an organization to promote academic excellence, community service, enhance cultural awareness and above all Brotherhood - to create a place away from home in which members could feel the strong sense of family .
