The Massey Ferguson 390 was introduced in 1986 as one of the Massey Ferguson 300 series that replaced the Massey Ferguson 200 series. The MF 390 was built until 1997 when it was replaced by the ?. It had either a hp (kW) or hp (kW) Perkins engine. The related Massey Ferguson 399 with Perkins 1006 engines are still in production in Iran (built by MF licensee ITMCO)
