The 1963 Southeastern 500 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Bristol Motor Speedway on March 31, 1963. Fireball Roberts led 165 of the 500 laps in route to a five-second victory on Fred Lorenzen, Roberts' first victory of the year. Eventual season champ Joe Weatherly finished 10th despite falling out of the event early. Stats
