| - This marauding Mandalore-class battlecruiser was infamous for being the first Mandalorian warship in recent history to ever perform an Alpha Null - a planetary bombardment from an orbital warship, the Mandalorian equivalent of an Imperial Base Delta Zero. The first action of the Devitalizer was the Battle of Dxun. A swift Galactic Federation raiding fleet, led by this battlecruiser, reverted from hyperspace just off Dxun. Several light carriers deployed hundreds of stealthed dropships carrying commandoes, speeder bikes, and Jedi. They landed near the Tomb of Freedon Nadd, attempting to steal the Sith artificats and amulets there before destroying it, denying it to the Sith. Meanwhile, the Devitalizer and two Imperial I-class Star Destroyers, the Adamantine and the Darkfire, the two most well-known Star Destroyers within the Galactic Federation, bombarded the surface of Dxun for several reasons: 1.
* To provide support for the ground forces 2.
* To destroy Sith infrastructure on the moon 3.
* To provide a distraction to cover the dropship emissions However, as the ground team raged against the Sith defenses, a moon-based hypervelocity cannon fired, causing considerable damage to the Devitalizer before it was targeted and destroyed by Galactic Federation TIE bombers and Skipray-class gunboats. As the rest of the Galactic Federation fleet was engaged by far greater numbers of Sith warships, taking considerable casualties, the Galactic Federation ground forc failed, however. The Sith drove off the Jedi-led charge, and activated a planetary shield generator around the ancient Sith Lord's tomb. The rest of the fleet retrograded into hyperspace as the Devitalizer bombarded the moon, performing an Alpha Null to all of the planet except for the tomb. Then, taking heavy fire and suffering heavy damage from the approaching Sith fleet, the Mandalore-class battlecruiser withdrew, as with the rest of the Galactic Federation fleet, heavily damaged.
