Albert Arnold "Al" Gore, Jr. (born March 31, 1948) was president of the Second North American Republic (1756 World) from 1994-1999 and 2002-2007. Running for the Liberal-Democrat Party, he was elected in 1994 to succeed John Turner (1756 World). He lost the November 1998 election to Bob Rae (1756 World).
