The Bootleg was the first yo-yo produced by Buzz-On, shortly after its founder, Dave Bazan, had left Spintastics. Using the TigerShark's body halves as a base, Buzz-On added aluminum weight rings inset to the rims, along with a new bearing seat, and a larger bearing. It also uses a hybrid response system of starbursts and friction pads.
