Adam tries one last time to persuade Steph not to confess to Terence’s murder but to no avail. Steph and Adam go round to see Alan and she blurts out that she killed Terence. Steph leads Alan to where Terence’s body is buried, but as they approach the woodlands a chilling shock awaits them. Elsewhere, Jean enjoys her date with Tom, but makes an excuse to cut the night short. Jean tells Terry that she misunderstood Dawn’s point of view and that she would be hurt if they were together. However, they end up in bed and when a flushed Jean returns to Connelton View, Dawn assumes that Tom put a smile on her face.
